Get Information About Medical Assistant Training at Everest
Everest is part of a family of schools with more than 50 campuses throughout the United States.
Medical Assistant is one of the most popular programs offered at Everest campuses. In fact, Everest trains and graduates more medical assistants than any other educational institution each year.
Accreditation is an effort to assess the quality of institutions, programs or services by way of accepted standards, and to assure that those standards are met. With post-secondary education and training, there are two types of accreditation that can affect training: institutional and programmatic (or specialized).
Every Everest campus is institutionally accredited, and many of the Medical Assistant programs are programmatically accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). CAAHEP has been collecting data and accrediting programs since 1995 and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. ABHES has been accrediting programs since 1968 and is nationally recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a private, non-profit, independent accrediting agency.
Many Everest campuses were previously known by different names, such as Bryman, Ashmead, Georgia Medical Institute, Florida Metropolitan University and Las Vegas College. Although these quality institutions have changed names to become Everest and enjoy the power of being nationally recognized, you can be assured that they still have the same great instructors, staff and classes you’ve come to expect!
